At the beginning of Covid I had a broken tooth. I called my current dentist at the time and they wouldn’t see me at all! I rang Bottesford Dental practice and I was seen straight away. He sorted out my teeth no problem. Unfortunately due to the neglect of my previous dentist a lot of bone had already deteriorated so my teeth were in a bad state. I was very upset as I had always looked after my teeth and visited the previous dentist every 3 months for the past 20 years. The service at Bottesford Dental is outstanding. My experience here has been brilliant and top-class. I would definitely recommend others to come here. The entire staff is so friendly and good.

My previous dentist retired and I was not sure what to do. I knew one of the members of staff at the time and she suggested I come and see Furqan. I hadn’t seen any dentist for 10 years due to my fear of dentistry. When walking into the practice for the first time I thought it looked lovely and Furqan and all the staff were absolutely delightful. My teeth were not in the best state so Furqan made me a treatment plan and I thought I couldn’t get through any treatment without being sedated! I then decided after speaking to Furqan that we would do it just bit by bit and he put no pressure on me at all. So I got brave and that’s what we did. The visual difference kept making me come back. He has been amazing. Before coming to this practice I would not smile and I was embarrassed to ever show my teeth. At my final appointment today I think it’s the best Christmas present ever… getting my smile back.

I hadn’t been to the dentist for 18 years and I finally decided to do something about some teeth that were crumbling away and a couple of friends recommended a dentist which I found to be quite abrupt so I went to a different dentist who was very rude. I searched online for a better dentist near Nottingham and came across Bottesford Dental; it had reviews from patients who also had dental fears. I have now had multiple treatments and had sedation (which was well worth the money) and the service has been great. Furqan has a great sense of humour which puts you at ease and he also gives really good clarity of information which is really helpful. All the staff are pleasant, polite, respectful and calm. I was reassured throughout my dental journey. Furqan really goes out of his way to calm patients. I am already referring all my friends to come here. I just want to say thank you to all the staff at the practice.

The environment is top class. The advice I would give to others is if they have a serious dental phobia like me to just give this place a chance. I have to say it’s not like coming to the dentist, which is a good thing. It doesn’t smell, the waiting room is like somebodies sitting room, Furqan is lovely he doesn’t make you feel silly for not coming to the dentist for all these years. I can’t believe how calm I feel. But honestly I would recommend here. I read testimonials but you don’t really believe them do you, that’s the problem but he’s lovely. Furqan says all the right things. And the other thing was when I emailed the practice because I didn’t dare phone up, the thing that got me to come here, was you saying ‘well done for getting in touch’ that was the best line and that was what made me feel good, thank you so much.

I have just returned from a root canal treatment. I am a new patient at the practice and transitioned from my old dentist purely on account of geography; I live in Bottesford. As somebody who has experienced dental practice in different practices both here and in the USA I found the quality and provision of service excellent. In particular every step of the procedure was explained and the dentist took the opportunity having opened up my tooth to clarify the best clinical route by x raying the tooth. Most importantly for a “deep rooted” procedure I experienced zero pain. Full marks !!

When I booked an appointment at Bottesford Dental Practice to have a bridge made and fitted, I was apprehensive but also excited that the appearance of my teeth would be significantly improved. The dentist explained all about the treatment in advance, and everything went as we anticipated. The quality of the treatment and the patient care at the practice was excellent, and there was nothing about my whole experience that made me unhappy. I would advise anyone else thinking about having a bridge that it was a very good investment and well worth the time and money.

Mavis: Brilliant team here at Bottesford Dental Practice. I had been avoiding the Dentist for a long time due to bad experiences as a child. I was put off having treatment done, and hence why I hadn’t seen a Dentist in such a long time, until I saw Bottesford Dental Practice advertised in the Village Link Magazine. I made an emergency appointment and have been a patient ever since. I would highly recommend Furqan and his team to anybody. All members of staff and all treatment I have received there have been brilliant. I believe that my treatment was a good investment in both time and money. I return to the Practice appointment after appointment which helps me to conquer my fear, although I am still nervous, which stems back from my school days, I am very happy to continue to go to Bottesford Dental Practice.
